**Environmental Racism**<span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"> - Disproportional exposure of minority populations and low-income communities to environmental hazards and poor environmental conditions, often resulting from intentional or unintentional policies, practices, and systemic biases.</span>

**Procedural Injustice** - The perception<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); white-space: pre-wrap;"> that the processes used to make decisions are unfair, biased, or inconsistent, regardless of the outcome of those decisions.</span>

**Peak Load**<span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"> - The maximum power demand the facility experiences, typically occurring when cooling requirements are highest, often during the hottest parts of the day.</span>

**Southern Environmental Law Center**<span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"> - Non-profit, non-partisan organization that uses legal and policy expertise to protect the environment in the Southeastern United States.
